1926 1926 Born in Changting, Fujian Province
 
1952 Graduated from the College of the National Taiwan Normal University
 
1955 Studied modern art painting with Li Chun-Shan
 
1958 Formed the "Modern Graphic Art Association" with Chin Sung and Yang Yuyu Participated in the  “Modern Print Exhibition” organized
 
        by the China  Institute in  America.    
 
1959 Works selected for the exhibition at the "Bienal de Sao Paulo Museu de Arte Modena" in Brazil.
 
1973 Held a solo exhibition of oil paintings organized by the "Artists Gallery" at the American Naval Hospital
 
1974 Awarded the Golden Knight Award by the National Chinese Painting Association.
 
1979 Held a solo exhibition at the "Print Artist Gallery".
 
1983 Held a special invitation solo exibition on the 5th anniversary of the Apollo Art Gallery. Works appeared in Works by Shaih Lifa, and
 
               was also named of the" Leading Artists of the Modernist Movement " with Shiy De-jinn.
 
1984 Chiang was interviewed by the "Free China Review" and his work "Ci Li Bridge" appeared on the cover of the magazine.
 
1985 Chiang held a solo exibition at the Apollo Art Gallery.
 
1988 Recommended by the Council for Cultural Affairs to attend the San Francisco International Print Exhibition, one painting collected by
 
        local art museum.
 
1990 National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts collected a total of 12 art works, including”Affection.”
 
1992 The Taiwan Fine Arts Museum collects three works, including ”Young Girl’s Dream.”Held a solo exhibition at the “Museum of
 
               Ethnology”in Vienna (Austria).
 
1993 The Apollo Art Gallery held the “1993 Chiang Han-tung Special Spring Exhibition”.
 
        Works are presented at the Taipei Fine Art Museum’s “1960s Taiwan Modern Print Exhibition”.
 
               Art critic Huang Han-ti and Art of Collection magazine cooperated to present an article introducing Chiang Han-tung’s art,
 
               titled  ”A Reishi Mushroom that Grows between the Cracks in the Stone”.
 
1994 The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts collected for the second time the oil painting “Getting Married”.
 
        The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts opened and made preparations for “Modern Image – Development of Taiwan Painting
 
Retrospective” to which Chiang is invited.
 
           The Taipei Fine Arts Museum collected the oil painting “Dream” and “Circus Ⅱ”.
 
1995 The Apollo Art Gallery held “Ching Han-tung’s 1995 Solo Exhibition – Oil Paintings, Prints, Multimedia”.
 
1997 The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts collected the oil painting “Fun on a Boat”.
 
        The Apollo Art Gallery held the “Chiang Han-tung New Oil Painting" exhibition.
 
        The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts held the “Chiang Han-tung 70th Anniversary Retrospective” in November.
 
1998 Chiang was invited by the Dimensions Art Center to participate in the “40th anniversary retrospective of Taiwan modern prints”.
 
1999   “Li Chun-shan Teacher and Student Exhibition” was held at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
 
2001 Awarded the 7th Annual Li Chun-shan Art Foundation’s Modern Painting Award–Creative Award and his works appeared in the
 
accompanying exhibition.
 
2002 Chiang was interviewed by the “Taipei Review” and his work “Brothers” appeared on the magazine’s cover.
 
2003 The Chan Liu Art Museum invited Chiang to Present his works at the “The Markings of Time – 50 Years of Taiwan Art Exhibition”.
 
        The Apollo Art Gallery presented the "Chiang Han-tung Retrospective" exhibition.
 
        The northern chapter of Taipei’s Rotary Club presents Chiang with the “Modern Art Achievement" Award.
 
2004 Chiang’s works were published in the Taiwan Modern Art Series, planed by the Council for Cultural Affairs.
 
2005 National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts collected 26 of Chiang’s works, including “Partner”.
 
        The Apollo Art Gallery held “Chiang Han-tung’s Woodcut World”.
 
2006       Chiang was invited by the Taipei Fine Arts Museum to present works at the “The Odyssey of Art in Taiwan 1950-2000” in Beijing.
 
2007 Taipei Fine Arts Museum held “Chiang Han-tung: 80th Anniversary Retrospective” exhibition.
 
2009 In the morning of the first of April Chiang passed away at the age of 84.
 
2011 The National Museum of History held the "Pioneer of Modern Taiwanese Woodcut Art: A memorial Exhibition of Han-Tung Chiang"
 
exhibition.
 
2013 His works were exhibited at the 20th “Art Taipei” International Art Fair.
 
2014 His works were exhibited at the 3rd “Art Tainan” International Art Fair, at the “Citizen Art Shanghai” International Art Fair, at the  "Citizen
 
Art Chengdu" International Art Fair, at the 21st “Art Taipei” International Art Fair and at the 2nd "Art Kaohsiung" International Art Fair.
 
2016    Fantastic Perspective Memorial Exhibition of Han-Tung Chiang, Apollo Art Gallery, Taipei
